KP Salons is a group of two hair salons that are both multi-award winning with over 30 years of hair specialist experience based in Fareham and Gosport, Hampshire. Established in 2005 by Kate Preston, the Salons are now led by Kate and her daughter Liberty.

Kate’s passion for pushing hairdressing boundaries with head-turning styles, vibrant colours and persistent reinvention of hair beauty, means that she is constantly thinking of new and innovative solutions for your hair. So, even before you have left the salon she will be preparing for your next visit!  Kate also specialises in curly hair and some of her clients travel up to 50 miles for their hair appointments, another testament to her well-deserved reputation within the hairdressing industry.

Kate spends every spare minute attending workshops on new colouring products and exploring the latest trends in styling ensuring that she is prepared to advise you on the most up to date products and solutions for your hair.

As the owner of KP Salons, Kate is proud of her 30 years’ experience in the hairdressing industry and therefore it was no surprise to us all, that she won a lifetime achievement award in the Portsmouth Hair and Beauty awards in 2016 and again in 2018 at the Southern Hair and Beauty Awards.
